What is sacred? For my Godmother sacred is what she shows the world; her relationship with her God.
Here's the cane that started it all!
Two years ago my Godmother asked me to paint her cane to take on a cruise. She wanted it covered with symbols of her Christian faith. I was delighted to be asked to make something special for her and poured my heart into making it as good as I could.
And this is what I ended up with!
Now I paint all my canes with the same intense desire to do my very best.

That is so sweet. I've been working on a walking stick for several years. I might have to pull it out & finish now! Your can is lovely.
Blessings
What a precious creation Judy...I believe that all things created with full purpose of heart are sacred for the carry a piece of us in them. Beautiful work!!!
What a lovely sentiment. Beautiful cane.

Love the sentiment and love this sacred walking stick. Intense desire is what keeps true artists going, I think.
It's lovely Judy! I bet your Godmother treasures having something so meaningful to her, and that so much care and love has gone into.
Beautiful, Judy! Such a unique creation!
I love the story of how you began painting canes. I know this one is very special!
