Inspiration Avenue: Fade

Fade: become less clearly visible or distinguishable; disappear gradually or seemingly;

<<>>

This is a painting I began a couple of years ago but never finished. It's supposed to be an angel greeting the sunrise on Easter morning. As you can see, the angel has "seemingly" disappeared.

So the angel is faded! That works, right?

OK! My BFF just gave me her spin on my painting and I want to share it with all of you. When she looks at the painting she sees a person who is passing from this world into the next. He/she is waving good bye as he/she fades away from this world to appear in Heaven. I like that too!

LOVE the painting! Wonderful take on FADED.I hate goodbyes, but that gave me chills! Faded from this world into the next! Those goodbyes are the very best kind! The thought of seeing them again makes you extremely happy, not sad!
