When You Wish Upon a Star...

My offering for the latest Inspiration Avenue challenge:

WISH!

Star Light, Star Bright, first star I see tonight.
I wish I may, I wish I might have this wish I wish tonight!

1.I wish health for my babies, health for my mate.
shelter from the howling wind, good food upon the plate.

2.Honest work to pay the bills, the cattle on a thousand hills!
Grant these wishes and one more, keep the wolf pack from the door!

3.Creator of the starlight dim, all my wishes go to Him,
who keeps us safely through the night and blesses us with broad daylight.
